I got these kitchen scissors to use this summer to harvest vegetables, herbs, etc. We join a CSA every summer and do a weekly u-pick at the farm. Having the right scissors makes harvesting green beans, herbs, flowers, or whatever so much easier. I can tell these heavy-duty kitchen shears will work perfect for this. They are large enough to be easy to handle and use. And strong enough to cut through whatever I need them to. I really am happy with how large the handle is on the scissors, it makes using them more comfortable than other kitchen shears I have had in the past. I also like to have an extra pair of kitchen scissors to keep with our harvesting supplies rather than trying to remember to take them back and forth from the kitchen. I am looking forward to these making all my harvesting and maybe the resulting kitchen prep work much easier this year.

Large Kitchen Shears

The Expert Grill Extra Large Grilling and Kitchen Shears is great. It is sharp and the handle is big which make is comfortable to use especially when cutting a whole chicken. I love using it for cutting herbs. This shear is prettu durable. Take care of it and it will last long. I recommend this Expert Grill Extra Large Grilling and Kitchen Shears. You won't be disappointed.

Great product!

This item is very handy to have in the kitchen! Not only does it do a great job of cutting meats (and other types of food), but it also has a built in bottle opener and a cap "snaffler" to open screwed on lids. This was a bonus that I did not expect on kitchen shears, but it is greatly appreciated. In addition, the extra large opening in the handles (both sides) make it very easy to use and it works great for BOTH right & left handed folks!

Versatile Kitchen/Grilling Shears

These kitchen shears not only cut great, but they also fit my hands nicely. The shears came pretty sharp. I have been ale to cut everything I have tried to easily and cleanly. I tried them on pizza, as well as some skirt steak. Both cut without any issues. I also like the added feature of the bottle openers built right into them. My last pair didn't have that.

Cuts great

Hey! These are pretty cool! I wanted some scissors strictly for cutting chicken! These have nice big grip holes %26 a better design for cutting thru thick chicken,skins%26bones! Also has a bottle opener but think those kind of caps only come on bottled beer now! The price is less than the dollar store too!

WOW! DARNED NICE!

I like these kitchen shears. They are very sharp with a large handle that doesn't hurt my hand when I use them. You can open twist cap bottles and on the blade is an area that you can use to open pop off caps. This also comes in handy to push a hot oven rack back into the oven without needing to use an oven mitt. I've also used these to cut up a chicken. They do an amazing job separating bones. So far these shears have handled everything easily. The stainless steel blades clean up with no problem and I can store them in my silverware drawer without them taking up a lot of space.

These shears are just right for all your cutting needs outdoors at grillside, or in the kitchen, prepping tasty meals for your family, or a get-together outdoors. Strong enough to cut through chicken bone, and most cuts of meat. Very good to have in your kitchen, also makes a nice gift for any cook!

Excellent shears for use at the grill & kitchen!

I would classify as these shears as decent if you are not looking for top-line kitchen/grilling shears. They cut well enough (chicken bone). They do not come apart for cleaning, which is something necessary for me if I am going to use them on raw meat. They are lightweight. The care instructions included are to keep dry after cleaning. I will use these shears on vegetables and if needed on cooked meat. The blades are stainless steel.

Average shears

PROS: Large Handle makes these scissors easy to hold for men. These scissors cut meat well. They also help to separate the knuckle of chicken. I did not try these on fish as I get mine already filleted Appear to be stainless steel. You can also us a magnetic knife holder with these scissors. It is always a good thing to have a handy bottle opener for my better quality beers while grilling and these scissors have both bottle opener grip for opening small jars. It is nice that the blades are tight together and sharp for cutting through whatever you are cutting. 

CONS: While nice to have a rivet to keep the blades together I prefer adjustable screw so when the scissors get loose I can tighten the blades. Advertised as cutting bones, well maybe fish bones but would not cut through chicken thigh bone. These scissors are same size as standard utility scissors except for handle.

I would buy these for the fact that they fit comfortably in my hands and work well, but not for any bone cutting.

GOOD SCISSORS FOR LARGE HANDS

After 2 days of light use, the scissors broke. I couldn't put the two pieces back. The screw was so loose which make it unusable.
