I just took a chance on this after a few uncomfortable nights and I am so glad I did.
It is just the exact size of a twin bed, so all my linens fit much better. By raising the bed, I could now store some items underneath, which is a big bonus in a tent. It was fast and easy to set up, every single thing is included, even a pump which uses 4 D batteries (not included).
To set it up you just unfold the metal frame, inflate the mattress, insert it into the zippered pocket on the frame and you're done. Once the mattress is zipped in it is as stable as any bed in your house.
One thing I hadn't appreciated was the effect of the air mattress with the cot. Since cots somewhat mold to your body adding an air mattress causes it to do the same. It sort of gently hugs around you like the seat of a sports car. Very nice for sleeping.
I also like that if your air mattress goes flat, you are still super comfy in a big cot. The air mattress is easily replaced and you are back to golden.
Negatives... this thing weighs as much as my tent ! It's heavy, bulky, awkward , and I don't even care. Worth it. Also, I wish it locked into place when folded out. If you move it around you have to be cautious with the legs. I saw a lot of complaints about how loud it was, but Coleman must have addressed this because mine was nearly silent.
I can't imagine you would regret this purchase

It sets up very easily and collapses easily. Buy good batteries for the air pump, though, bc it drains them quickly. Personally, I found Duracell to be the best.
The only weird thing, was it was hot during the day and as the night cooled, the humidity rising from the river greatly increased. If I was on my back, I'd be sticky on my front side, but cold underneath me as the air temperature decreased. l had a mattress pad on plus sheets. What finally helped eliminate the strange temperature dichotomy was placing a beach towel underneath the mattress pad.
This product worked very well and except for the odd temperature contrast, I slept well each night. The bed was comfortable and no more noisy than the whipperwills that called out from 9:30 PM to 4:30 AM EVERY SINGLE night. Ha. Earplugs.
1) It is very difficult to pack back into the supplied bag. The air mattress is separate from the cots frame and zipper fabric outer holder. I've practiced at home, I've used this a lot out car camping, I still rarely manage to get it back into the bag on the first try and at this point pretty much say "close enough" where I can't zip the bag fully and just chuck it in the car and leave it that way.
2) The battery powered pump is weak and eats up the batteries quick. I can't say that this the fault of this particular pump, I'd suspect any battery powered pump like this isn't great. I gave up on it and bought a manual pump and use it instead, it's faster, and you'll want something in addition to the battery pump to finish getting it firm on setup (or top off if using it for an extended period) anyway.
3) It is not good in cold. You're sleeping on a thin air mattress with a very thin fabric covering, with cold air within and below you.
4) The zippered fabric you insert the air mattress into is attached to the cot. There's no detaching it and throwing it in the washing machine for spills or the general dirt stains and the like you're going to get on it.
5) Setup and tear down time. At this point I generally take out my not-completely packed from last use cot out, set aside the battery pump I never use but still pack with it, and then spend awhile manually pumping it up. On departure, I do my best to get as much air out of the mattress as possible by laying/rolling on it while it's still on the cot frame, pull it out, then start rolling/packing it to try and get every little last bit of air out in hopes this is the 1 out of 5 times I manage to get it fully packed into the bag on first attempt. Initially, I would then spend considerable time failing and repacking until eventually I could pull the zipper with force around the whole package with great satisfaction, I finally managed it, only to notice an hour had gone by. Even giving up packing it well, it still takes time to mess with, so no fault of coleman's here, just not for me.
