5.0 out of 5 stars. warm gloves

These gloves fit well and help keep my hands warm. I don't use the finger/thumb pads and would actually prefer the same gloves without the pads.

Nothing out of the ordinary, but they are good quality and warm.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Touch Pad bad
Reviewed by PJSenter from Mantachie, Mississippi on Thursday, December 5, 2019
If these being touch pad friendly is one of your main reasons for choosing this glove, then move on to another brand. These gloves are well made and I have no doubt they will keep my hands toasty warm this winter. They are sized correctly, I went by the sizing chart and it is spot on. But one of the major selling points for me was that it was touch pad friendly so I could use my phone while doing my jogging app. They should have extended the pad over the thumb and business finger so you can tap it, the way it is now, you have to lay your finger flat on the screen and this is awkward. I'm sure I'll get use to it. These gloves are too well made to return, so luckily my jogging app doesn't require much usage while it's actually running.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
