The 200 milligrams of thinsulate is enough to keep you warm yet not too much that your feet perspire and you end up with wet socks.
These are the 3rd pair I have own so Columbia must be doing something right.
Buy without hesitation. While sizing is true, get 1/2 size bigger to accommodate thicker socks and toe movement. -

The rubber has disintegrated, there is clearly a incompatibility issues with the glue or insulation relative to the rubber component.. Tried contacting Columbia customer service, but was transferred to a secondary service provider. Nice looking, but no substance. Beware..................
