Iron for Brain Development

Getting enough iron each day, from foods such as infant cereal, helps prevent iron deficiency. Including iron in your baby’s diet is essential for supporting healthy growth, brain development, & learning ability. Iron deficiency develops gradually; about 14% of children 1-2 years are iron deficient. Just two servings of baby cereal per day meet your baby’s daily iron needs. Mix Gerber baby cereal with breastmilk or infant formula and introduce baby’s tiny tummy to something new.

Mighty-good ingredients

Gerber Baby Cereal is an ideal way to give baby their first-ever bite of solid foods. Made non-GMO and without any artificial colors or flavors for baby. Plus, it’s crafted with calcium to build strong bones & teeth, along with zinc, vitamins C, E, & six B vitamins for healthy growth.

Made for milestones

Your supported sitter is ready to put those newfound motor skills to work! We have the first cereals they need to make their introduction to solid foods as smooth as can be, while checking for sensitivities along the way. Plus, when they reach their next milestone, there’s a whole line of more advanced cereal options waiting to grow with them.

This is a lot of oatmeal. Excellent.
5 Stars
This is a lot of oatmeal. Excellent.
I was born in July of 1976. Throughout my childhood and into my adult years I always enjoyed Gerber Baby Oatmeal. Somehow I never outgrew it. My mom used to prepare it for me, and I’d sweeten it with syrup and sometimes I’d throw in some raisins. What a warm and tasty breakfast! When I left for college in the fall of 1994, I stopping eating Gerber Baby Oatmeal. I stopped cold turkey. I moved on, and to be honest, I forgot about it. Once in a while I’d remark to my friends that I ate baby oatmeal until I was 17 years old, and I’d get a few laughs. Now, fast-forward to the year 2015. I’m 38 years old, living in Brooklyn, NY, and I’ve developed a passion for long distance running.Runners often experiment with different types of food to eat before running, and I’ve heard that oatmeal is an excellent choice. Full of nutrients and easy to digest, oatmeal is almost pure carbohydrate, and is soft and light in taste. I decided to give it a try. After scanning the aisles at my local supermarket I found several brands of oatmeal, but nothing from Gerber. (I checked the baby section too.) So I went to Amazon and placed my order.Imagine my surprise when a rather large box arrived from UPS, weighing about 7 pounds. I could not imagine what this box contained. I grabbed my swiss army knife, sliced opened the cardboard shipping box, and pulled out another box— I had not ordered six *servings* of Gerber Baby Oatmeal, but rather six *boxes* of it!What is a man to do with all of this Gerber Baby Oatmeal? I don’t have a baby, and I only eat it once it a while. I now have enough baby oatmeal to feed an army.I am pleased to report that this oatmeal is as tasty and delicious as I remember it being back in the 80s and 90s. Gerber has stayed true to this great product, and I applaud them for it. If you’re looking for tasty pre-run meal, I suggest you try this. I have a box available for you at no cost. You don’t have to be a baby to eat Gerber Baby Oatmeal. Just don’t order a 7 pound box of it.

I have been using the cereal since my daughter was 5 months old. She prefers the oatmeal one better but I will mix them… I still use both.
