I have been researching air fryers for many months now, and couldn't wait to test this Magic Chef snack-size version. It is a lightweight, attractive small appliance that can be moved with ease. I have used it about 5-7 times already and have made things like roasted potatoes, fried mushrooms, meat pies, jalapeno poppers, and even a ribeye steak! The machine is user-friendly and does not heat up my whole kitchen like my traditional oven or toaster oven would. The dials are easy to turn, and it gives off a little ding sound to let you know when your heating cycle has ended. I have not experienced any burnt odors or had any issues with smoke coming out of the unit. Let me tell you, cooking a steak in an air fryer is life-changing! I will not be using my outdoor grill as much anymore. I am definitely putting the larger version on my wish list for Mother's Day. If you have been considering getting an air fryer, this one is a winner! I think it would make an excellent gift for a wedding, Mother's/Father's Day, college student, or for anyone who wants a healthier way to cook food. I do suggest getting an olive oil spray bottle in case you are cooking certain breaded foods that you want to brown/crisp up more. I am excited to make a huge variety of foods in this awesome air fryer.

This was my first time using an air fryer. I wanted to get one after hearing from friends about healthy cooking it provides. I try to make foods that my family with enjoy that are better for them than fried foods and foods that can adhere to my keto diet. Now I am enjoying cooking in my air fryer! It actually eliminates/collects fat when I cook! My family likes especially when I use this Air Fryer to cook them fresh cooked French fries ( though you can use frozen as well) and It taste just like restaurant French Fries, very fresh & crisp. I would definitely recommend this product to any one which I already did. I am currently trying all recipes it came with. By the way, the chicken tenders were some of the best I have ever made at home !!!

Perfect for healthy family meals and my keto diet

This air fryer is amazing!! Not only does it make foods healthier, it's also SO convenient! When I cook, I usually use 3 to 5 pans or pots. That plus dishes from my family eating leaves me with so much clean up! When using the air fryer, I only need to wash out the 1 tray! I really like that I can just put my food in it, set the temperature, set the timer and I'm done! If you have a big family, I would suggest you get a bigger size. I can't believe how many things you can cook in this air fryer! So far I have made pork chops, french fries, and cut up potatoes. The quality is very nice and it's so easy to use. My 13 year old son loves using it to make french fries. It does take up a bit of room, but that doesn't bother me. I really like that it included a small cookbook. It gave me lots of ideas for future meals. It's also very easy to Google new recipes to try. Overall Im very happy with this air fryer!

Easy to use and convenient

I recently received a Magic Chef 2.6 Quart Snack Sized Compact Manual Oil-Free Air Fryer, and I am so glad that I did. Now I can make delicious "fried" foods WITHOUT using any oil! This awesome way of oil free frying will help me to keep my family healthy, and still be able to serve their favorite "fried" foods! Even without oil, you would not believe how crispy and delicious everything comes out. French Fries are my kids' favorites so far! I made the recipe from the cookbook for fried zucchini and that is now my favorite thing to make...and eat! This Air Fryer does not just make fried foods, you can use it to bake, make casseroles, bake bread and more! It really does it all! It is really easy to use, the controls are all self-explanatory. The basket flips out and pushes easily back in. It can be taken all the way out and use to serve whatever you make in it. The basket is non-stick and a breeze to clean. The handle stays cool all through the cooking, so no worries about anyone burning themselves from the handle. Included with the Air Fryer are directions on how to use it and a really great Cookbook. Tonight was a very busy night and I had very little time to make a big dinner. So I cut up potatoes, onions, and zucchini, seasoned it and into the Air Fryer it all went. You can see the result below, perfectly crispy vegetables I served with a dip. I seriously do not know how I got by without this great, versatile small appliance in my life. It fits nicely in the corner on my counter and is always within reach to cook up the next mouth-watering meal!

Love this Air Fryer - It works great!

I was sceptical of trying an air fryer but it has proven me wrong! I made tater tots in them and the first batch I made came out ok, only because I put way to many in the basket. Second try, I put half the amount and they came out crispy! They didn't stick to the basket and it was easy to set up and clean! I will definitely recommend this air fryer to everyone!

This is awesome! Perfect size.

Crispy food without deep frying. Everything comes out perfect and takes less time than the oven. I am not a big fan of oven cooked chicken breasts so was little afraid to try it but came out juicy and tenders. Made pork chops, chicken tenders, Brussel sprouts today and guess what boiled eggs. Yes, perfect boiled eggs in 15 minutes. I have made crispy tofu without the deep-frying. Yum! I hardly use my oven anymore. I guess my air fryers, cast iron pan, and pressure cook is all I need now. Clean up is very easy and doesn't take much space in kitchen but cook enough food for 4 people. Tried the bread pudding recipe from the cookbook that came with the fryer. It's family favorite.

Seriously oven and deep fryer replacement

Very pleasantly surprised with how well this air fryer works, Although being a bit skeptical at first at the idea of no oil cooking, This product has certainly changed my mind. The taste and texture of food far surpasses restaurant quality fried food all without the greasy oily taste and smell. Very easy to use, Cooks very evenly and quickly making this definitely a go to kitchen appliance. The manual timer is very precise and actually prefer it over digital with a nice "ding" when it has finished. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a healthy safe alternative to the fried snacks we all love. All pictures other then the mini Egg Rolls, pot stickers and spring rolls are all Homemade, Breaded Cheese sticks, Zucchini sticks, and Chicken tenders.

Very healthy alternative to deep fried snacks.

I received this as a gift from my husband and oh boy! I loved it. Perfect size to be placed on the counter permanently. Love the sleek black and silver design because it complements our other kitchen appliances. For cooking, I stopped using my oven on weekdays (working days) because it cooks food faster and evenly. I don't use oil at all. The first time I used it, I didn't even bother reading the instructions at all. Even a first grader can operate it because it's WYSWYG (what you see, what you get). Temperature settings on the top and then timer and light indicators in front. The air fryer basket is of decent size. Ideal for snacks, small family, students, bachelors, bachelorette, newly married couple. Good for all actually. I highly recommend this Air Fryer!

Excellent cooking buddy!

This air fryer works great. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and cooks food quickly and thoroughly. I started with simple things like frozen fries, and reheating egg rolls, and this thing performs! It heats quickly, and makes things crispy and delicious. I branched out and tried a couple other things in it - does frozen food amazingly - Jose Ole Chimichanga, check. Hot Pockets, best ever. Even made cookies and a cake in this thing! It's just a convection oven, so any oven directions, just drop temp by 50degrees, and follow directions, or keep temp the same and cook in almost half the time! Hot pockets were done in 15 minutes instead of 30. Great device - use it almost on a daily basis at this point - even great for toasting sandwiches!

Better than Expected

My son has been talking about his air fryer for months and after getting the Magic chef I now know why. It came with simple to follow instructions and a cookbook for inspiration. The first thing I made was French fries that's when I fell in love. I can have my favorite food without all the grease. I even got my health food junkie husband to eat some fries. It's simple to use just pull out the basket add your food, turn on and set a timer.

I can scrub for hours and this wouldn't come clean. it's so frustrating and I have just wanted to throw it through a wall for months.  it's not helpful, it sets of the smoke alarm for anything that's not fries.  I wanted to roast vegetables and I can't
