The ReliOn Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor does auto-calibrate.

Same On/Off Button, but I would suggest you return to the store. This monitor was highly unreliable and the readings were so far apart that it scared us into calling Nurses On Call - But it was the monitor.

Reading

I've been a nurse for over 23 years. I've worked OB/GYN, dialysis, home health (skilled visits, not sitters) and I worked in a specialized Alzheimer's center and other places along the way. I can say with absolute authority that this works just fine. You're going to get inaccurate readings if you do not hold it at heart levels, which it says to do in the manual under 5.3.d. Don't use your muscle to hold it up! Use a pillow. You can use a pillow standing in your lap, lengthwise (as in portrait mode on a camera). I have an overstuffed couch and if I lay it on my sweater on the side of the couch, it's the exact height.

I have checked behind it numerous times and it's always right, so long as you hold it above the heart while resting. 

Other things I like about it is how fast it is. I was really surprised at how fast it worked. In fact, it almost made me suspicious but my checking behind it doesn't lie. The numbers are big too. My vision isn't very good and it's clear enough for me with and without my glasses. 

All in all, I highly recommend this and feel so comfortable with it that I would trust it while at work. No kidding. Oh and if you're not sure about me, google my user name here with the keyword nurse and you'll see where I've talked about my work or experience.

I'm a nurse: it WORKS.

This product is easy to use.  The only trick is to remember to keep it at your heart level when taking your blood pressure.  I like the fact that it doesn't tighten so hard that you feel like your arm is going to break off, like with the arm blood pressure monitor!

Smooth

I purchased this about a year ago or more and it seem to work fine on the left wrist but right. Now it seems to not work on the right not the left. What i mean by not working is i can get an invalid reading of 69/15 which i am 100% sure is incorrect. Then i would check the other arm and it could be 123/85. These are not made up numbers and i changed the batteries consistently to prevent misreads i never let it go below half. I am going to probably order another brand just to see if i get better results over time.

It is ok.

Not really easy to use. And then you wait 5 mins. Retake it and get totally different readings. Wanted to see how accurate it was tried at least 4 times waited 5 min.between uses not even close to the same readings. And yes I had it on properly and sat very still.

Disappointed

I was unable to get a reading that was anywhere near accurate. I even took it to my doctor's office to get them to help with no success. 
I returned this item.

Not accurate

If the Manufacturer or the Walmart Buyer who chose this product would have done simple but real "QUALITY TESTING" With a diverse group of users (specially Seniors) of this product, they would have easily seen that this piece of junk - NOT ONLY DOES NOT WORK, But it can scare family members trying to get an accurate reading.

Do not waste your time. Hopefully, someone will soon come up with a 99.8% RELIABLE "WRIST" Monitor, but this one is very very far from it.

Do NOT Waste Your Time - HIGHLY UNRELIABLE

I bought the Relion BP200w because of it's simplicity and low cost. I am very disappointed. The unit gave very inaccurate readings which for the most part read too low. Yes, I followed the instructions and called customer service. On the bright side - customer service was excellent and issued a gift card without hassle. I would not recommend this unit and believe there are other much better wrist blood pressure monitors.

Regardless of  how I position this monitor on my wrist, I am not able to get reproduceable results.  Not only are they inconsistent, they sometimes differ by a large margin.

Inconsistent results

Completely inaccurate, even if held at heart level with relaxed arm muscles. What is worse is that it constantly reads HIGH. We took my pressure and my daughter's pressure 4 times each with this monitor and with a traditional manual monitor. The traditional monitor got the same reading all four times for me and for my daughter. This cuff read anywhere from high to dangerously (call a doctor) high every time for both of us AND all four of my readings and my daughter's readings were all different. Just in case you are wondering who did the manual readings, my wife is a CMA and has been doing blood pressure readings at least 50 times a week for 30 years. Also, we had my EMT son check her readings. DO NOT BUY.

When comparing to a more expensive brand the numbers did not match anywhere close.  One minute I was dead the next I was going to die.  Results were all over the chart.
