Since its opening, The Wizard of Oz film has captured the hearts and imaginations of millions of viewers. In Follow the YELLOW BRICK ROAD, all of the great Wizard of Oz characters are captured as their journey begins down the fabulous Yellow Brick Road. Glinda the Good Witch looks on as the Munchkins merrily celebrate their newly gained freedom from the Wicked Witch of the East whose demise came from a falling house. Above “Munchkinland”, the Professor Marvel balloon floats towards the Emerald City while Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion begin their adventure. And, of course, the Wicked Witch of the West looks on, watching their progress and hoping for an opportunity to capture the fabled Ruby Slippers.

The color and beauty of the Land of Oz have been elaborated in this masterwork using Thomas Kinkade Studios’ signature romantic luminist style. Gorgeous flower beds line the Yellow Brick Road and the mountains in the distance are glowing with the warmth of the passing day. Like most of the people reviewing this puzzle, I loved it. The picture is absolutely gorgeous and the puzzle is a challenge. I found it irresistible. Only thing I wish was that the pieces had a more snug fit. I found it hard to keep the pieces together when working on it. It was easy to dislodge whole sections just by trying a piece that didn't fit, or by laying a tray of puzzle pieces down on top of part of the puzzle and it disturbing parts already laid out. Many other companies have figured out how to make for a snug fit and Ceaco would do well to learn their technique. Other than that, the puzzle was perfect!

It is very beautiful, and good size of 1000 puzles. the package does not include the folded picture, so it is by the difficulty on the scale 10 is …10. Fair to say that I am not an experience one puzzles’ player, and puzle it together by looking only on the box took almost a month ,4 hours per day. But i bet i got alot of fun, and it is the main idea of all puzzles sets. So, if you have do not afraid challenge and want to have beautiful pic for your wall for fall decor, have fun!

This puzzle was fun but challenging (All those dang tree trunks, apples and flowers). The first 1000 piece puzzle I did and it only took me a couple of days but it was a nice challenge. The image quality is very clear and good. Pieces are semi-sturdy, the pieces didn’t click together as snug as other puzzles - they fit a little bit loosely together until it’s more fulfilled (which was a bit aggravating because I had more issues with pieces staying sturdy/together when I added to them than anything). But the pieces weren’t bending or breaking - just not as tight of a fit until you have bulk pieces/images done.
Overall, great puzzle! Got this to piece, glue and frame for my wizard of oz-loving mother-in-law for Mother’s Day!

This puzzle was bought as a gift for a senior citizen's social center, and the residents have really enjoyed putting it together. The colors on the puzzle are much brighter and more vivid than you would expect just by looking at the image on the box. I will definitely buy more puzzles from this manufacturer in the future.

Also, the puzzle was easier than expected - we'd timed this one to last for three weeks, and two elderly residents have already put it together in less than a week. So I will have to search for a more difficult puzzle next time. This item was competitively and reasonably priced when I paid $8.10 for it two weeks ago, but in no way would I recommend paying the new asking price on Amazon, which is currently set at $12.99, just two weeks after I bought the same product for $8.10. This is absolutely not a puzzle worth paying $12.99 for.

This puzzle is fabulous. It's a beautiful picture and very high quality. The pieces fit together nicely.

Beyond the fact that it is 1,000 pieces, there are other things that make this puzzle very challenging as the scene has a lot of flower beds and dark trees which are tricky to assemble.

I loved this puzzle. It challenged me and I enjoyed it. I don't often glue puzzles when I finish them but this one is so special that I did glue and frame it.

I recently re-located for work so I had tons of free time on my hands. As a result, puzzles quickly became my life! I have put together several Thomas Kinkade puzzles before and have been pleased with the results. So, I took a chance on this puzzle and couldn't have been happier. Unlike some of the other reviewer's experience, all of the pieces were present to the puzzle. In addition, the pieces were a great thickness and did not bend easily like some cheaper puzzles do. The color of the puzzle is very bright and vibrant which made it a joy to put together. Of all the puzzles I have put together recently (and believe me there have been several) this has been my favorite. I look forward to getting it out and putting it together again!

Nice imagery but a little difficult as a lot of the pieces are not unique - can fit in more than 1 place - also lack of poster made it very difficult - box photo was small / not clear. I had to go to google images to look at a bigger size of the photo.
