Was very pleased with the mat, especially for the price compared to others I looked at. I can't speak to its durability as I have only recently put the mat down. I have it on hardwood floors and it is perfect for that. I had read one review about a "smell", but I detect no odor whatsoever. I have a problem with a lot of chemical odors, but not with this mat. It's flexible enough, lays flat and just does the job!

Great for the price

This mat is just the right size to fit under a standard desk. It doesn't slide around nor take up a lot of space. No bottom cleats so doesn't leave dents in vinyl flooring. I'm very happy with my mat. Delivery was fast and cheap. The box it came in is flat and will be used as backing on a bookcase I'm restoring. Win-win on this one.

Great Mat for solid floor

I am very happy with the Cleartex-AdvantageMat-Smooth-Back-Chairmat-for-Hard-Floors. I actually ordered two and am so very glad I did. They are perfect for what I was looking for. They don't slip or move around on the floors. There is no smell as some have stated. I had them shipped to my home and they came flat so there is no curling.

Very satisfied

The way the item was packaged was flat and that was nice. It arrived when it was estimated for it to be here and they sent me an email promptly to let me know it was here from the store for I had it delivered to a Wallmart store near me.  It was in excellent condition and is still is.  Thank you so much!

Chairmat for a flat floor

Some of the other reviews I read mentioned that the mat came folded down the middle and some said that the mat had an odor. I did not have either of these issues. The mat was in a flat box, no folds at all. It works just as we expected it would. The proof of the mat working will only be realized in the long term, since we won't know if it is adequately protecting our wood floors until we use it for awhile. It seems like it will work though!

Works as expected.

Until this purchase, I had been buying a similar product at Staples. This unit is slightly smaller in size, but it was nearly $20 cheaper. It does a fabulous job of protecting my rug, and it doesn't have those plastic cleats on the bottom that dig into your rug to secure it in place. This mat stays in place anyway. The other reason I like this mat is because unlike the ones I was purchasing at Staples, it is one whole piece. The other had a seam in the middle, which is where the plastic would always crack.

I would suggest, however, having this product shipped to your home instead of site-to-store. It's a rather large and awkward package to try and juggle.

Protects rugs without those plastic cleats

I had it shipped to store & was surprised it came in such a large box. I believe that is why it was hardly curled when I took it out of the box. It flattened in just a few days. It is spacious & made of a durable material. Does not slide around on my laminate floor. I am extremely happy with the quality of this product, which was at a price that couldn't be beat!

Excellent chairmat at incredible price!

I had been looking everywhere for a plastic mat for our den. They were much more expensive. This mat is great and seems just as good as the more expensive ones.

Very nice mat.

Chair wheels and floor under mat are critical.   Our floor is Mexican tile with wide grout.    The wheels on the chair are small and the mat is not firm enough to allow  wheels to roll easily.
The size, design, and mat itself is fine.    I am looking into changing the chair wheels, and keeping the mat.

chair mat limitations

I was really looking forward to getting these floor mats for our office. However, when they arrived on our doorstep in giant boxes and we removed them, they were a thick hard plastic that didn't flatten out. We tried for days to get the plastic to relax and stay straight on the floor, even putting books on the different corners....with no luck. I'm going to be returning them this weekend. I was really surprised because previous comments were all positive. This just did not work for us at all.

They were absolutely awful and I returned them.
