Understanding your Dyson Corrale Straightener:

• To maximize your run-time, always start from 100% charge
• Slide lock button up to open your Dyson Corrale Straightener and insert flight ready tag
• Press and hold the power button until you hear a chime
• Use the + or - button to select your desired styling temperature You will hear another chime when Corrale reaches your desired temperature
• Use the dock with cable attached and place Corrale on the dock between sections and when not in use to extend run time
• Press and hold the power button to turn Corrale off and place in the charging dock so that it is fully charged for your next styling session
• Before flying with Corrale, place the machine in flight ready mode by disconnecting the flight ready tab
• When on-the-go, place in heat-resistant travel pouch

Styling Tips:

• Prep hair: Before styling, ensure hair is detangling and completely dry. For best results, section hair
• Temperature: Begin at a medium heat (365 degrees F) and adjust up or down depending on your hair type and texture
• Loosen grip: Because the flexing plates shape to gather your hair, you can loosen your grip when styling, letting the machine do the work for you
• Style speed: Flexing plates allow you to style hair in one, slow pass vs. multiple quick passes. To slow down your movements, try using one second per inch as a baseline. Speed may vary by hair type
• Tress size: The perfect tress size will depend on your hair type. Try a few different section sizes and see what works best for you. If you have coarse hair, begin with a smaller section. If you have fine hair, try larger sections for a smoother glide
• Position of tress: To maximize the benefits of the flexing plates, ensure your tress is in the middle of the plates when styling
• Styling your ends: If you have fine hair, it may be difficult to style your ends. For a smooth glide, try styling the roots and mid lengths of hair first, and style the ends last so you can take larger sections of hair. This allows the flexing plates to fully gather the section of hair
• Styling products: Finish with your favorite styling products

• Start with completely dry hair
• Begin with Medium Heat (365 degrees) and adjust up or down depending on your hair type and texture
• Select 1-2 inch sections of hair (depending on hair density) for best performance
• Smooth hair in a single, fluid motion from roots to ends
• Create additional details such as beveled ends by rotating 45-90 degrees inward or outward as you smooth ends of hairTo help get closer to the root, take sections at an angle
• For finer hairline areas, reduce temperature
• Finish with your favorite styling products

Tips for curls and waves:

• Start with completely dry hair
• Begin with Medium Heat (365 degrees) and adjust up or down depending on your hair type and texture
• Select 1-1.5 inch sections of hair (depending on hair density) for best performance
• Clamp the section of hair and rotate the iron 1 full turn (for curls) or half turn (for softer waves) in the direction you want to curl
• Immediately begin sliding the iron to the ends of the section
• Finish with your favorite styling products
